A continuity project may take the form of software development, research project, or even a comprehensive and challenging problem set.
A continuity project is carried over an extended period of time, usually in student groups, and in between Ibn Sina Sessions. It is guided and evaluated by School instructors.
A continuity project may relate to topics not covered in an Ibn Sina Course, but are within its scope.
Continuity projects serve several objectives:
- maintain a relationship with the instructor beyond the Ibn Sina Course
- provide a structured context in which students can pursue their studies outside an Ibn Sina Course, yet according to the same standards encountered at the School
- provide a context for continued interaction and collaboration among students that extends beyond their Ibn Sina Session experience
